I would like to experience the full English-translated story of Bare Knuckle III, which gameplay-wise people seem to hold in high regard. It includes new music, locations, enemies, moves, graphical effects, a parallel plot and a lot more features. There is something to be said about playing the original game in its entirety though. Streets of Rage Remake is a homage to the famous Sega MegaDrive/Genesis saga, aiming to keep the same gameplay and spirit from the 2nd and 3rd installments.

I already have the patch that replaces the remixes with the original 16-bit tunes, which makes Streets of Rage Remake perhaps superior to the original games. Featuring hand-drawn visuals from the team behind 2017’s gorgeous Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap remake, Streets of Rage 4 builds upon the classic trilogy’s gameplay with new mechanics, a fresh story and a gauntlet of dangerous stages with a serious crime problem. Streets of Rage 2 graphics with all of the levels of Streets of Rage 1? Yes please! You can make the game play fast or slow, and I prefer slow, but love the amount of level options. Streets of Rage is a remake / reboot of the original Sega Genesis / Arcade brawler that was in development for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC by Grin, the same team behind titles such as Terminator Salvation, Wanted and the cancelled Wanted 2 and Final Fantasy Fortress. SORR as a whole is great, as you can tinker with the feel of the game totally by adding/removing the run, all of the characters, the pause delay, the whole bit.

While I haven't played the last two in-game routes yet, I know they split Streets of Rage 3 in half for some bizarre reason. Realistically though, why aren't you playing either the translation hack for Bare Knuckle III, or speaking of SoRO, Streets of Rage Remake(mostly uses 3's engine, brings Adam back, and has a ton of options while all the stages from all 3 games are present)? As far as Streets of Rage Remake goes, I have been playing that a bunch too. If you're that adamant about it though, maybe keep an eye out at Streets of Rage Online, or Romhacking, for some tools. Honestly, it kind of grows on you after a while.
